I prefer "noobs" easier to type. There's also: noob, newb, newbie, beginner, nub, nubcake, nubcaek. etc.

I use it depending on the person.

Newb- newbie, new to game, first timer who doesn't know better

Noob- annoying fool who displays incomprehendable lack of intelligence

What's a doornob? >_>

I know of doorknobs, but maybe I'm just not keeping myself educated with these new hip terms.

-cough-

Yeah. Sorry.

The results so far are just as I had expected (most ppl choosing noob rather then newb)

Haven't read this, sure someone has mentioned it.

Noobs = Annoying asshats

Newbs = Newbies, new people at games.

There is no direct correlation between the two besides being ****nyms, as they are generally used to describe two different classes of people. There are then also nubcakes which is just a playful term, and froobs which is in general a rebuttal to 'noobs'.

DAMNIT, posting in an ancient thread.

Damnit Vlad, damnit!

Do us all a favor and do NOT use "Similar Threads", it has a date next to each, and they're almost NEVER from this year when they're down there.

If they're rude and dumb then noob. If they're new to the game I be nice, however if they're ungreatful I just leave them.
