Hi.

I've read so many threads about poeple complaining about Wizet's lazyness and carelessnes of their users that it's time we did something.

It's true ... I can imagine some things might be hard to do or change ... but in MY opinion (and some of yours) Wizet has had enough time to give us at least 3rd Job Adv., Cash Shop and more tangiable drop rates and money.

Taking into consideration that most of the players for MS are kids which are too stupid to do something about it (*no offense - also this does not include all of you kids*) I am taking this poll to see how many of us maplers will take action and mass request Wizet for whats yours and mine.

If all goes well I will post again ... setting a date in which we could all send our e-mails requesting Wizet to grants us what we think is most important and FAST. Hopefully enough people participate so that its actually a MASS REQUEST.

Poll options are up there ^^^^. Pls participate.

I would rather wait and allow them further time for testing. The most annoying thing about new games is constant need to download the latest patch.

First they patch the common bugs.
Next they patch the easy cheese moves.
Followed by patching of more bugs. Which creates an new exploit. Creating new cheese.
Then another patch to fix that cheese.

I would rather wait, and let them get it right.

I think it'd just be better to tell them that we feel left out of the other fun stuff that the other Maple Stories have, like the 3rd job class and other towns and areas. It also seems to me that the Beta version, which people still can play, doesn't have anything different than the final client version. I remember that you could still access the cash shop in the Beta version. You still couldn't buy anything, but it was there. Now when I log into the Beta there's nothing, and the version number is lower than the final release.

It seems to me that they rushed the final version out so that people would start playing sooner, which is really dumb. Now they've got more people that are going unsatisfied with the way they're handling things, and it's bringing their image down in the eyes of Maple Global players.

...this is what happens with most non-american oriented mmorpgs. the the clients for THAT country that it STARTED in usualy has things before the international/american version of it.

take ragnarok for example, international ragnarok got it's trancandecent classes like, two months ago, korean ragnarok has had it for like, years.

Agree, one of the reason why i quit AO. 3 patches in less than one week hurts.

But i wont complain if they give us all those stuff :D

People never look at something through a developer/publisher's eyes. It's always "I want this, I want that, now now now". I'm sure many people here can't even guess how much money it's costing just to keep those servers up, so many servers and not much income, how are they even managing amazes me.

Now they have to set up that cash shop, but then they have to be 99.9% sure that it is bug-free. Because if someones finds a glitch because they had to rush it, the system would be screwed and MORE people will start whining at how "lazy" they were. Give them time, do you seriously think coders and testers just sit there on a big leather chair drinking fine Scotch Whisky and singing songs together? No, they know they need to earn money and they're trying to put it all together ASAP.

Now, I may be a little wrong or very wrong or completely right, but at the end of the day, you can't ***** about this unless you actually know what they are REALLY doing with their time. For all we know they are working their asses off and imagine if you're part of that team, you've been working all week trying your best and you are flooded by emails from idiots who think you're being lazy when they can't see you right there, you'd be pretty pissed I'm sure if you was in his shoes.

The updates will be done when they are finished, until then keep your panties on.

why would a patch that works on all of the other ms not work on global?

it would only take a week to adapt it and fix bugs

and yes i DO know how hard coding is and i DO know how it works

I wasn't asking people if they knew how hard coding is, I was asking people if they knew how hard it was to develop and run an online RPG. Also just because a feature works well on one version of MS, it doesn't mean they can just slap it across onto another version of MS, that's why they would want to check for ANY bugs or glitches that may be exploited on it's release because let's face it, with so many users people are bound to find something, so Wizet wants to make sure they don't.

ur rationale is all wrong dude. they have all the stuff for 3rd job already but wanna test all possible ways people can hack it. if there were less hackers, 3rd job probably woulda been out at the beginning of summer. the same problem happened during beta. MS released ossyria really late cuz there were so many hackers.
they're probably just testing everything out to prevent damage, which they will have to fix, which will lag us when they have to do server checks.

and if there was a higher drop rate (which is dumb if u really THINK about it) the price of items would be close to nothing. when u get that feeling of a hard days work and finally getting a drop that makes maple worth ur while, you feel good about that. if everyone has a million thorns or panlids, looting one will have no satisfaction and it will be useless cuz u cant sell it, since everybody has one, and its not rare.

cmon ppl, use ur heads, it's there for a reason :D

Quit whining, it takes hard time and work to run a game like MapleStory. Especially with all the problems with hacking and all, and it's in the US. They are going to make a LOT of money with cash shop, they are tuning it up nicely. Be patient.
