According to the Ring Growth Manual, the second thing you need to do is to overcome an ordeal together. Arnello says you should defeat Normal Zakum once.Caution! You must have the Sylph Ring in your inventory when you complete the quest. After you defeated Normal Zakum, the ring transformed and shared its last memory of Freud. While Freud was on a journey, he met a young citizen fighting to protect their town. He decided to give the ring to that person.
