Police Report Made on Scam

Wow! That is simply amazing o.o I didn't even know you could file a police report for in game stuff.

Honestly, he should have seen it coming. With an account name "X3moneymoney" someone should be thinking, why do I need to give the cash to his other account, and why would his name look like this? Seriously, that name has "bastard" written all over it.

Although, the kid that got scammed should have known better..

Once this report spreads around Maplestory, all people will quit scamming, but sadly, hacking is still there.

I hope that scammer gets BANNED and ARRESTED and the guy gets his money back... If he doesn't get his money back, poor guy :(
I HATE SCAMMERS! (got scammed for 100m last month D:)

Even if the police actually catches Oceanblue2 (even the GM's can't do that), all he'll get is a fine for 12 dollars and a ban. He won't actually go to jail, since the amount of real money is tiny. How is the police going to catch Oceanblue? It's just an in-game name, and the GM's don't even know his personal information. I laugh at JiaFeng.

He is stupid for falling into the scammer's hands. If he wanted the money on another character, all the other people would reject the deal. I've never seen someone as idiotic as him.

I hope someone files a police report on Aiive on EMS. He scammed between 4 - 6 BILLION mesos from Solaris guild. One of the richest magician's on the game lost all of his godly equips to that guy.

I wonder if some of the most malicious scammers will begin to think before they attempt to scam such large quantities of mesos/items/NX now...

it is actuallyu jiefengs fault for -getting scammed. hes 18 and still using his parents muney to sue a guy for 12 dollars. get a life jiafeng.

scamming is scamming theres nothing wrong with taking action. i doubt it was the mesos that were his concern but the real $ spent on the NX. but unfortunately for the plaintiff, unless he has a SS of the chat log or has phone records of some kind to prove his story, this story is merely here say and nothing will happen. BUT if he is able to produce solid evidence to support his claim the police can DEMAND the personal records of the scammer and he will be dealt with. and yes they can do that dont tell me they cant....

I feel bad for the guy, but come on some of this scamming happens because of people's lack of common sense. There is no way the guy could of scammed you if you weren't dumb enough to fall for it. This is actually a good thing. It'll teach other people to use common sense and help break down on the high popularity of scammers and hackers that maple story is experiencing.

Meh, I just don't do the taking people's offers. Bar none. I do it all myself.
