According to Silver, Tumbleweed the wandering fox is back from his travels. You should go meet him, especially since you moved into his house. Silver seems quite serious, so there must be something more than just his return.
Tumbleweed explains that this world is Grandis, a wholly different world from Maple World. However, they are connected through an interdimensional portal called the Dimensional Gate. This means you've found a way to return to Maple World! No wonder Moonbeam was avoiding you.
